Die Staufener Musikwoche wurde 1949 erstmals durchgeführt. Sie bietet tagsüber Kurse im Studio für Alte Musik (Bläserseminar, Gambenseminar) und im Staufener Chorseminar sowie abends hochkarätige Konzerte der unterschiedlichsten Genres. Die Künstlerische Leitung hat Prof. Wolfgang Schäfer.
